From first briefing to a 90-day floor plan

This page maps how a Warehouse Performance Assessment moves through a southern Vietnam site. It is the natural path when you want supply chain KPI tracking grounded in observation, not only exports from your WMS.

  1. Briefing and access

We confirm layout drawings, peak windows, hazardous zones, and the KPI definitions you already use. Badges and a shift contact are arranged before anyone arrives on the floor.

  2. Observation days

Two to three days cover receiving, reserve, pick faces, and the dock across peak and quieter hours. Observers sample counts and time dock clocks without interrupting outbound cutoffs.

  3. Scorecard draft

Inventory accuracy, order cycle time, dock dwell (split clocks), and labour utilisation are calculated against the agreed definitions. Draft findings go to the site lead before the formal readout.

  4. Readout and 90-day plan

Leadership receives a ranked bottleneck list and a ninety-day action plan sized for supervisors. Software purchases stay out of scope unless you explicitly ask for a separate conversation.

Typical timing

Most sites finish in five to ten working days from briefing to final pack. Multi-building campuses or cold-chain constraints may extend observation days.
